Sharon Sim passed away, leaving behind a life shaped by laughter, creativity, and adventure. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Bill Sim, with whom she shared many years on their farm, building a life rooted in love, hard work, and the loyal companionship of several cherished dogs.
Sharon was a devoted mother to her son, Wes Hicks and his wife Jan Hicks, and her daughter, Kim McPherson and her husband Lynic McPherson. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Nicole Dreyer, Jillian McClary, Samantha Goodacre, and Matthew Goodacre. She leveled up her title and became a great grandma to Talula, Zach, Emma, and Harrison. She is also fondly remembered by her many cousins and extended family.
For many years, Sharon worked as a secretary at Johnson Memorial School, where she was known for her reliability, warmth, and quick sense of humor. She was an artist with a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for self-expression.
Later in life, Sharon found joy traveling with her trailer club, where she shared countless miles, card games, and laughter with friends who became like family. These trips brought her happiness, connection, and a sense of freedom that she treasured.
Sharon’s life was deeply connected to the farm she shared with Bill, a place filled with memories, companionship, and the dogs she loved throughout her life. Her adventurous nature, sharp wit, and genuine warmth will be remembered by all who knew her.
Sharon leaves behind a legacy of creativity, humor, and love that lives on through her family and the many lives she touched. Sharon's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
