In response, to Mr. Desjardin's February 3rd letter. "Citizens, capable of independent synthesis"

It is good, that Mr. Desjardin has decided to take an interest in local politics. However, I think he misinterpreted the purpose of the letter, to which he was responding.

Pointing out Councillor Dennis' long-standing, inappropriate behaviour, during council meetings, is not to promote "passive consumption" but to reinforce a community need, to take action, at our next municipal election.

The Integrity Commissioner, has made numerous attempts to curb Councillor Dennis' behaviour, through penalties, all, to no avail. Councillor Dennis, promises to behave, but, invariably reverts to form. Councillor Dennis, does not respond to any effort put forth, by council, the public, or presumably, his family.

The community, has not passively, accepted Councillor Dennis' behaviour. The unfortunate situation, finds that we are powerless, until our next election. Until then, it is incumbent upon us, to keep the "uninitiated," informed, so that the problem is known, and can be resolved
