It is with heavy hearts that the family of Paul Douglas Herage announces his peaceful passing on January 10, 2026, at Bluewater Health – Sarnia, at the age of 78.
Paul was the beloved brother of John (Karen) and a proud uncle to Lindsay, Matthew, Neta, Cheri, Rebecca, and William. He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Isobel, and by his siblings, Ed and Liz. Paul will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his many friends and neighbours.
Paul enjoyed building and flying model airplanes, golfing, and going for walks. A quiet and independent gentleman, he was well liked and respected by all who knew him.
The family would like to sincerely thank the compassionate and dedicated staff at Bluewater Health – Sarnia for the care, dignity, and kindness shown to Paul in his final days.
Cremation has taken place, and in keeping with Paul’s wishes, his ashes will be scattered in the spring at the Point Lands.
