Peacefully surrounded by her family at St Joseph’s Hospice, Angela Valenti passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 91.

Beloved wife of the late Salvatore Valenti (2009), Angela was a devoted and loving mother to Tony Valenti, and Maria Muscedere and her husband Rosario Muscedere. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren Jason Valenti (Natalie Houle), Joshua Valenti, Angelica Muscedere Ronaldson (DJ Ronaldson), and Anna Muscedere. She was also blessed with a great granddaughter, Davina Ronaldson, who brought her endless happiness and smiles.

Predeceased by her parents, Salvatore and Rosa Fazzalari. Angela is survived by her sister Elena Morabito and was predeceased by her brother-in-law Carmelo Morabito. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Lina Fazzalari, and was predeceased by her brother Michael Fazzalari, of Italy. Angela will be missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters in law Giuseppina Valenti, of Sicily, and Antonietta Valenti, of Italy, and was predeceased by her brothers in law Giovanni Valenti, of Sicily, and Andrea Valenti, of Italy. She was also predeceased by her sister-in-law Angela Valenti and brother-in-law Salvatore Grillo, of Sicily. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy, who held a special place in her heart.

Angela was born May 17, 1934, in San Giorgio Morgeto, Reggio Calabria, Italy, and came to Canada in May of 1961. She married the love of her life Salvatore in May 1963. She was proud of her Italian heritage and was a longtime member of the Catholic Women’s League, Dante Club, and the Italian Pensioners. Angela also had a generous heart and a deep love of volunteering, giving her time to many groups, including the Dante Club.

Angela’s heart was always in her home. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, filling every gathering with warmth and the comfort of her kitchen. She also found peace and pride in gardening and tending to her vegetable garden with the same care and passion she gave to those she loved.

The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Angela’s dear friends for their endless phone calls, and unwavering support.

Thank you to the clinical and administrative team on the fourth-floor telemetry unit at Bluewater Health for their great care. The family also extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Evan Lilly, and to the clinical staff, support staff, and volunteers at St Joseph’s Hospice for the compassionate care, comfort, and kindness shown to Angela and to our family. The peaceful setting, gentle support, and dignity provided to her each day brought us reassurance and comfort, and helped ensure she was surrounded by calm, love, and respect. Your compassion, support, and attentive presence meant so much during this difficult time and will always be remembered.
