It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Aileen McKellar on Monday December 22, 2025. Aileen passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Aileen was born on June 18, 1923. She lost her husband (Bill in 1962) which left her with the responsibility of raising her two children, Scott and Mary Lee. She was the owner of McKellar's Flower Shop which she operated until she retired at age 60. Upon her retirement she continued to go in and support the business into her 90s. Aileen is survived by her two children, Scott (wife Lois), Mary Lee (husband Tom). She has four grandchildren, Fraser (wife Kaysee), Shaun (wife Andrea), Cameron and Blake (wife Devon). She is also blessed with five Great Grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Hudson, Wyatt and Sawyer Aileen. While Aileen will be missed dearly, she had an incredible life filled with wonderful memories of family, friends, travel and joy. A celebration of life will be held at McKenzie Blundy Chapel, 431 Christina St N, Sarnia, with visitation from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. on December 29, 2025. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society in the memory of Aileen (cheques only at the funeral home please).
