Activist and NDP leadership hopeful Yves Engler is scheduled to speak in Sarnia at the Clearwater Arena on Tuesday, November 11, as part of his cross-country tour.

Author and activist Yves Engler is bringing his campaign for the federal NDP leadership to Sarnia on Tuesday, November 11.

The event, titled "All Out for Yves: Sarnia!", is part of the Southwest Ontario leg of Engler's cross-country tour and is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in the lower hall of the Clearwater Arena.

According to the event description, the stop aims to "spark urgent conversations about justice, Palestine, housing, education, a people-powered NDP and more."

Engler, a prolific author and long-time critic of Canadian foreign policy, is running on a platform described as "challenging genocide, militarism, and corporate power" while seeking to build a "bold, grassroots left alternative."

The Sarnia tour stop is noted as an opportunity for voices from labour, student movements, and faith communities to gather.

The event, located at 1400 Wellington St., is free to attend and scheduled to run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
