The Centre communautaire francophone de Sarnia-Lambton (CCFSL) announced the five-year initiative. The centre is backed by funding from the Government of Canada through the Enabling Fund for Official Language Minority Communities Program.

“Connexion Carrière is much more than an employment centre. It’s a place of support, listening, and hope for all those who wish to build their future in Sarnia-Lambton – in French,” said Tanya Tamilio, President of the CCFSL.

The new centre will offer a wide array of services designed to address the needs of job seekers at various stages of their careers:

  • Employment search assistance, including résumé writing, interview preparation, and personalized guidance.

  • Workshops for personal and professional development.

  • Mentorship and entrepreneurship support programs.

  • Specialized assistance for Francophone newcomers and youth aged 15 to 29.

  • Close collaboration with employers to promote the recruitment of bilingual talent.

The public is invited to the official launch of the centre:

  • When: Friday, November 7, 2025, at 3:00 PM.

  • Where: Centre communautaire francophone de Sarnia-Lambton – 901 The Rapids Pkwy #3, Sarnia, ON N7S 6K2.

The launch will be held as part of the annual Francophone Job and Services Fair and is expected to bring together employers, community partners, elected officials, and local residents.
