Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Monday, October 20, 2025 at Bluewater Health, Janet Dawn DeLong (nee Nye) passed away at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Garth. Loving mother of Angela, Erin, and Adam. Cherished grandmother of Maude, Jamie, Elsa, Agnes, Gideon, Aleister, Oliver, Tallulah, Xander, and Julien. Treasured daughter of Barbara. Dear sister of Shelley, Stephen, and Susan. Predeceased by her father Frederick and her brother Allen. Janet cherished her family, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with interment in Lakeview Cemetery to follow. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
