The beloved Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival is set to return to the Lambton Heritage Museum on Saturday, October 18 and Sunday, October 19, 2025. This annual autumn tradition offers a perfect blend of handmade treasures, family-friendly activities, and living history demonstrations, all set against the stunning backdrop of Lambton County's fall foliage.
Festival-goers can look forward to exploring a bustling juried artisan market featuring over 70 vendors. Whether you're getting a head start on holiday shopping or simply looking for a unique find, the market offers an impressive variety of handmade products. Shoppers can browse items including:
Art and home décor
Bath products and candles
Clothing and apparel
Food and beverage
Jewelry
Needlework and textiles
Pottery
Signs
Woodworking
Beyond the marketplace, the festival is a hub of engagement. The Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery will host an engaging, autumn leaves-inspired craft inside the historic Rokeby School. Throughout the weekend, visitors can also witness fascinating historical demonstrations of traditional crafts like quilting and timber-framing, offering a glimpse into Lambton County's past.
The Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival serves as the Museum’s largest annual fundraising event. This year, the festival will direct all proceeds toward the Canatara Cabin Restoration Project.
“The Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival is a seasonal tradition where you can get a head start on your holiday shopping, discover handcrafted treasures, watch historical demonstrations, and enjoy the stunning backdrop of autumn colours,” said Jessica Stevenson, Marketing and Events Coordinator with Lambton County Museums and Archives.
Stevenson also highlighted the project's significance: “We’re excited for visitors to see the progress we’ve made on the Canatara Cabin project. This year’s festival proceeds will go towards completing the project and preserving Lambton County’s history for years to come.”
The festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
Admission is $5 cash per person.
Children aged 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
For a complete vendor list and additional information about the event, visitors are encouraged to visit the Museum’s website at lambtonmuseums.ca/fall-colour. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the season, support local artisans, and contribute to a significant piece of local history!
