The Creative County Grant Program is now accepting funding applications for arts, culture, and heritage initiatives scheduled to take place in Lambton County in 2026.
The Creative County Grant Program is designed to invest in new and innovative projects that:
Build cultural capacity.
Strengthen the creative community.
Enrich the quality of life for all residents.
Organizers of new or expanding initiatives are encouraged to apply for funding, which can cover up to 50 percent of a project's total costs. The County of Lambton has allocated a total budget of $75,000 for the 2026 program year. In 2025, the program supported 19 projects with an investment of $69,275.
"Each year, we see applicants bring forward fresh, innovative ideas that enhance Lambton’s cultural landscape,” said Tracy Kingston, Chair of the Creative County Committee. “These grants provide the spark that helps new endeavors grow and existing programs expand, ensuring arts, culture, and heritage initiatives remain strong and accessible to all."
Applications for the grant program must be submitted online only at lambtononline.ca/creativecounty.
Deadline: The application period will close on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 4:00 p.m.
