It is with immeasurable grief that the family of Joshua Richard Carver announces his unexpected passing on September 26, 2025, at the age of 34.
Joshua was a man with a heart that touched every person he met, and he was truly loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His gentle spirit, bright smile, and unwavering kindness will leave an indelible mark on his family and friends. Joshua lived for the profound joy of his relationships. His greatest love and source of pride was his beloved son, Hayden, who brought light and laughter into his life every day. Joshua cherished his role as a father, sharing his warmth and compassion and teaching Hayden to face the world with an open heart.
Joshua was a devoted son to his mother Patti Bazdarick, beloved stepson to Brien Want and brother to Margaret Bazdarick (Maggie) and Katherine Thornhill (Katie), and he treasured their bond. He also held a special place in his heart for his brother-in-law, Brad Thornhill, and his loving grandmother, Frances LaChance. Joshua is predeceased by his loving father Ronald Carver.
Joshua also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who are all mourning this profound loss.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Joshua's life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at The Polish Hall located at 173 Exmouth Street, Sarnia, Ontario, between 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Joshua will be remembered for his boundless capacity for love and the kindness he extended to all.
