Local golfer Randy Evans marked a significant milestone in his lengthy career on the links today, achieving his first-ever hole-in-one. The accomplishment occurred on the seventh hole, a 135-yard par-3, at an unspecified golf course.

Evans, who has been playing golf for 59 years, made the shot from the white tees. He used a 6-iron to strike the ball, which landed on the green and rolled into the cup.
