The Sarnia Sting announced a transaction, acquiring forward Ben Pickell in a deal with the Kingston Frontenacs. In exchange for Pickell, the Sting will send a 10th-round pick in the 2029 OHL Priority Selection to Kingston.

Sting General Manager Dylan Seca praised the acquisition, highlighting Pickell’s dynamic style of play.

“Ben is an energy player, he loves the rink, truly a player we believe can inject some leadership and speed into our lineup,” said Seca. “He came on the radar after a strong playoff run with Kingston last season.”
