It is with great sadness that the family of Rosemary Vye (née Chalmers) announces her passing on Thursday, September 25, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, at the age of 79.
Devoted mother of the late John Vye (2014). Beloved partner of the late Dwight Healey (2014) for 37 years. Rosemary will be dearly remembered by her siblings, John Chalmers, Kathy Scott (Dave), and Michael Chalmers (Wendy), as well as her Goddaughter Jodi Brabson (Shaun). She will be lovingly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Rosemary will also be deeply missed by her cherished cat, Frisky. She was predeceased by her parents, John & Mary Chalmers and her sister, Crystal Lowe.
Rosemary was a gentle soul who lived a life of quiet solitude. She had a special fondness for animals, especially cats. She enjoyed watching television, particularly medical dramas, with House being her favourite. Compassionate and caring, Rosemary was someone who consistently put others before herself. Having spent many years living along Lake Huron, she greatly cherished the peace and beauty of her view of the water.
