With heavy hearts, the family of George Kenneth MacDonald of Mooretown announces his passing at Bluewater Health – Sarnia, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 83.
George was the beloved husband of Mary Chambers-MacDonald for 39 years. He will be deeply missed by his children: Mike (Blair) MacDonald, Angela (Rob) Proulx, David (Jen) Mirault, Brenda (Scott) Robertson, and Tracy (Brad) Lawrence. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Quenten, Marissa, Ryan, Julia, Karl, Kodi, Lynn (Jestyn), Haley (Doug), Brooke (Howie), Rachel (Nathan), Reegan, Megan (Peter), and Joel (Taryn), and a delighted great-grandfather to Ian, Ella, Lilly, Rylan, and Daxton. George is also lovingly remembered by his brother-in-law, Vernon Robertson.
He was predeceased by his parents, Kenneth and Verna MacDonald, and by his sister, Donna Robertson.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of George’s Life will be announced by the family at a later date.
