In the presence of his parents, Matthew Folkert Campbell passed away on August 24, 2025, at Bluewater Health- Sarnia, at the age of 30.
Beloved son of Bruce and Ingrid. Cherished brother of Nathan (Robyn), Bart, Andre (Jason), Patrick, and Allyne. Proud uncle of Norah, Malcolm, and Hendrix. Loving grandson of Jean. Matthew will be deeply missed by Amy, Chris and his honorary nephews Armin and Alden, as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
Matthew found joy in walks and adventures, and had a love for books, music and movies. He had a wonderful sense of humour, often mischievous, and a gift for bringing laughter to those around him.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Standing Oaks and Dr. Greensmith for the excellent and compassionate care Matthew received, as well as to the ICU team at Bluewater Health – Sarnia for their kindness and support.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Matthew’s Life will be held at a later date. Please check back for details.
