City Clowns,

I have just read the minutes from the meeting of the George Street homelessness issue. There were many good points from all sides of the community. I am pleased that they were able to come together and support their opinion.

Then we get to Nathan’s so-called ‘protest’ of lifting his shirt which makes you wonder if he and Bill Dennis have a side bet on who can make city council meetings look more like a circus.

If you’re going to behave in such a clownish atmosphere, let’s just skip City Hall and put up a big circus tent at Centennial Park. We can have lions, tigers and bears. And of course, council meetings.
