Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, August 16, 2025, William “Bill” Donald Fawcett of Lambton Shores (formerly of Hamilton), passed away at the age of 80.
Beloved husband of Cathy for 58 years. Loving father of Becky & Mike Carter, and Andrew & Melanie Fawcett. Cherished Papa of Clay (Hannah), Cole (Rachael), Connor (Mimi), Cohen, and Londyn, and proud Great-Grandpa of Kennedy. Survived by brother-in-law David Bennett and sister-in-law Pauline Fawcett. Predeceased by his brother, Jack.
Bill’s love for his family was matched by his passion for classic cars, especially his 1965 Thunderbird. As president of the Ontario Thunderbird Association, he took great joy in restoring his car alongside his two children.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bill are asked to consider St Joseph's Hospice Resource Centre Of Sarnia Lambton. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Cori from Care Partner’s and Grace, his nurse from Bayshore, for their exceptional care and compassion.
