Vic passed away suddenly, after a very brief, very brave battle with cancer on July 31, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Viki (Dunn) and his adored children Sam (Nadine) and Shelby. Also surviving Vic, his sister Lee Mortimer (Lyle) and his brother in law Norm Peters (late Charlene), as well as his Dunn family, Linda Velocci (Fred), Bob Dunn (Terry), Jack Dunn (late Sharon), Dave Dunn and Cathie Fleming (late Jim), as well as many nieces and nephews.
Vic was predeceased by his parents, Len and Kaye Villeneuve and his sister, Charlene Peters.
A great number of friends will feel this loss. Many who found their way to the Moneypit for love and laughter, food, fun and fireworks (do it again, Victor, do it again!).
Vic was a proud member of UA Local 663 Plumbers, Pipefitters and Welders for over 50 years. He loved to travel, especially to the World Junior Hockey Championships in Europe and yearly visits to Barbados. More recently, Vic loved a good round of golf with his buddies at Mooretown.
Thank you to Dr. Lilly for his compassionate care and to the truly amazing staff of Palliative Care at B.W.H. The five days are a blur, but thank you to Ally, Tyler, Heber and to everyones whose names I have forgotten, but whose care, I will never forget.
Vic died with dignity and grace, especially for someone who did not know they had cancer, much less terminal cancer until about 4 days before his death. He thanked everyone who provided care and everyone who got a chance to visit. His only worry was for his family.
Vic loved life.
