It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sandra Faye Cutfeet (nee Morehouse) announce her passing on July 30, 2025, after a lengthy struggle with Benson's Syndrome, at Trillium Villa in Sarnia, Ontario, at the age of 84.

Loving mother of Robyn Forrest Stewart (Ray) of Sarnia, Kelly Forrest Crane (Alvin) of Sioux Lookout, Dan Cutfeet (Jody) of Victoria, and Derek Redsky of Thunder Bay. Beloved grandmother of Joshua, Sarah, Scott (Nichole), and Clayton Stewart, all of London, Ryan (Heather) of Toronto, Joel, of Thunder Bay, Rebecca, of London, and Simon (Hannah) Crane, of Peterborough, Nodin and Noah (Marina) Cutfeet of Victoria, and Ethan Poile-Redsky. Cherished great-grandmother of Davina and Caoimhe Stewart of London, Everett Gorth of Sarnia, and Ezra Crane of Toronto. Dear sister of Glen (Joanne), and Elizabeth (Michael). Also survived by her aunts, Vivian, Murtle, and Reta, former husband James Cutfeet and many other family members and friends. Predeceased by her former husband, David Forrest and her parents, Gerald and Melba Morehouse.

Sandra was born in Centreville, Nova Scotia and moved with her family to Toronto as a young girl. She would always be a proud Nova Scotian. After high school, Sandra completed nurses' training and worked as an RN for many years in many different capacities until her retirement in 2005. She was a believer in lifelong education and was always learning and teaching others. She obtained a teaching certification and worked both as a teacher and a nurse in the north in the late 1970s & 1980s. She loved her time in the north, especially being a part of the communities of Big Trout Lake (Kitchenuhmaykoosib Inninuwug), Wunnumin Lake, and Nibinamik, and making many lasting friendships. The memories of that time were always precious to her.

Sandra had a significant impact on many lives throughout her career and on a personal level. She loved to spend time with family and friends, always opening her home and extending her family to include others. She was passionate about her faith and was actively involved in her church, particularly New Life Assembly in Sioux Lookout, where she resided for a significant portion of her life. She later moved to Thunder Bay and finally to southern Ontario in 2010, where she lived for the remainder of her life.

Sandra's family would like to thank Roxanne White for providing timely comfort and support during her time at Trillium Villa. Thank you also to the staff of Trillium Villa for their wonderful care of our Mom and Grandma. We appreciate the personal approach to care that so many staff provided, focusing on things that brought her joy and comfort, which enriched her life in her final years.
