Surrounded by loving family on Friday, June 20, 2025, Donald Callacott passed away peacefully at home at the age of 87. Don touched many, many lives throughout his ministry to the various Sarnia nursing homes with special emphasis to Vision Nursing Home, where he received greater than 45 years volunteer service awards just this year. Don had many ventures – from his service in the RCAF for many years with a long stint in Germany alongside his brother Rolly, Water Well Drilling, Holiday Inn Manager, Garbage Truck Driver, Commissionaires Security and various positions in Senior Ministry. His unwavering love of the lord and his steadfast faith made us very proud to love him so much. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered. Close loving friend of Connie. Loving father of Jennifer (Cam) Davies, Jackie (Dennis) Favret, Julie Callacott (John). Cherished grandfather of Jasmine (Cam), Justine (Ian), Jayme (Jeremy), Jenna, Jessie, Jonathan (Naomie), Keegan (Victoria) and Adrienne. Treasured great-grandfather of Evangeline, Isadora, Carter and Dylan. Predeceased by his parents William and Maggie Jane Callacott and his brother Rolly Callacott. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be officiated by Reverend Stewart Chute at Smith Funeral Home, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Blackwell Cemetery, Sarnia.
