New addition aims to get people active during Tennis Month in Canada.

Lambton County Library has expanded its Sports Kits collection to include adult and junior tennis kits, giving cardholders a new opportunity to try a sport and stay active.
Each Tennis Kit includes two tennis racquets, three tennis balls, and a carrying case, and can be borrowed for seven days with a valid library card.
"June is Tennis Month in Canada; we hope the addition of the new Tennis Kits will encourage patrons to get active and experience the fun of tennis," said Kevin Coates, Public Services Coordinator, Collections.
The Tennis Kits are part of a broader Sports Kits lending program that already includes basketball, pickleball, baseball, and soccer kits, all designed to promote recreational activity. Other options available through Lambton County Library include fishing pole kits and walking poles, making it easier for residents to explore physical activities close to home.
Kits can be reserved online at www.lclibrary.ca, through the Iguana app, or by visiting or calling a local Lambton County Library branch.
Library cards are free for anyone who lives, works, studies, or owns property in Lambton County, or who is a resident of a First Nations community in Ontario. For more information on becoming a library cardholder, visit www.lclibrary.ca/apply.
