As you are reading this in the special section of the paper, you must know I have hung up my bow, put away the fishing poles, locked up my hunting gear and folded up my camo. My cremated remains are where you would most likely find me any time from October through to the end of December. No parties or fanfare as I never was that type of guy. I lived a quiet life and my wish is to go out the same way.
I leave behind my wife Wendy. son Chad (Jen), daughter Laura (Mike) and stepson BJ (Susan). Predeceased by stepdaughter Haddie (2013). I tip my cap to my ten grandchildren and all their fur babies. For all the times I was invited and didn’t show, I thank you. The quiet in me was my pleasure. A man of few words. A final reminder that still waters always run deep.
Gratitude to Dr. Lilly, L of CarePartners & Palliative Care at Bluewater Health Sarnia. Cremation has taken place. As per my wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.
