Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, on Monday March 3, 2025. Edna Veronica Mitchell, age 74 years of Corunna. Loving wife of the late Jim Mitchell (2023). Dear mother of Mike White (Amy) and Brian White (Julie) all of Sarnia. Edna was the cherished grandmother of Mike and Nina and great-grandmother of Ezra. She was the loving sister of Penny Barraclough (Keith) of Corunna and was a special aunt to Shelly and Lisa. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Edna was a member of the Corunna Legion for 45 years. She worked for GLIS for many years. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held at the Corunna Legion 350 Albert St. Corunna on Sunday March 30, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to Corunna Legion or to Children’s Aid Society.
