With saddened hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Mrs. Theresa Elaine Snary (nee MacNally), a resident of Wallaceburg, on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham at the age of 79. She was a cherished pillar of our family, known for her unwavering love and devotion succumbing to a courageous fight against cancer. Theresa was born in Chatham and was the proud daughter of the late Sidney Walter and Estella (O'Neill) MacNally.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Gordon "Gord" Snary (2023).
Loving mother of Bobbi-Lyn (Mike) Gardiner and James “Jim” (Mary) Snary. Predeceased by two children Sidney John Snary and George Anthony Snary.
Sadly missed by her grandchildren Cody, Tesa (Chris), Jesse, Joey, Jaclyn (Darcy) and the late Christopher (2010) and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Henry "Hank" MacNally (2011). Survived by her sister-in-law Georgena (Georgie) MacNally. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 1 to 3:30 with the service immediately following at 3:30 p.m., from the chapel of the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
