After a life well lived with lots of love and memories, Lorne Elmer McKay (86), went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia, with family by his side.
Lorne spend his entire life working and living on the family farm for over 80 years, in Enniskillen Township. Beloved husband of Eileen McKay (nee Rundle). Loving father of Brenda and Scott Elliott, Brian McKay, and Wayne and Melissa McKay. Treasured grandpa of Lauren and Craig Baan, Breanna and Brandon Wilson, Nick and Cailee Morreau, and Colton, Morgan, Sydney, Jenna, Danielle, and Leah McKay. Great grandfather to Lilah and Flora Morreau and Flynn Wilson. Predeceased by his infant grandson, Tyler Elliott (1995), and his parents, Elmer and Vina McKay.
Lorne was a quiet man with a deep faith in the Lord, and attended People’s Church, Wyoming.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., from People’s Church, 3888 London Line, Wyoming, where a funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Private interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque or online to the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (CEEHF.ca), or Lambton Meadowview Auxiliary.
