Age 103, passed away at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Thursday, December 12, 2024. She was the wife of the late Jack Graham Burgess (1969), daughter of the late Foster and Florence Irwin and sister of the late Hazel Evelyn Rawson (Eric). She is survived by daughter Marcia Caylene Bishop (David), sons Kenneth Irwin Burgess and Dr George Errol Burgess (Marilyn), also grandsons Jason Bishop, Graham Bishop (Lesha), Bryan Burgess, and Fraser Burgess (Kate), as well as great-granddaughters Chloe and Julia Bishop, Lily Burgess, and great grandson Jaxson Bishop. Aldean was a member of Christ Anglican Church, Petrolia and Britannia Chapter 34 Eastern Stars. Many thanks to special nieces Mona Gudjurgis (nee Rawson) and Bonnie Lowrie (nee Burgess) and to Aldean’s thoughtful neighbours and friends in Petrolia. The family would like to thank Dr Li, Dr Lam and the Bayshore support staff, Dr Buckton and staff at Meadowview Villa, as well as Dr Kim and staff of Bluewater Health, Sarnia. A private family graveside service will take place at Hillsdale cemetery, Petrolia. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Christ Anglican Church or C.E.E.
