Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on November 22, 2024, at Sumac Lodge, Fredrick Walter Smith passed away at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Marlene Smith. Loving father of Mark Smith and Sheila Crang. Cherished granddad of Tanner Crang, Dean Crang and Carlee Crang. Predeceased by his parents Ada and George Smith and his sister Brenda Disher. Fredrick loved trains (steam), vacationing in Florida, the racetrack, riding bikes, and collecting coins and stamps. He spent many years working in janitorial services and owning his own window cleaning business. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Fredrick’s wishes, no services will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
