With great sadness, the family of Lawrence Raymond Stevens announces his passing on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at age 85. Larry died peacefully at home with his wife of 55 years, Mary, at his side.
Beloved brother of Patricia and brother-in-law of Lydia, dear father of Andrew and Sarah (Michael), and loving grandfather of Elise and Norah. Larry is fondly remembered by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Larry was an avid outdoorsman, master hobbyist, and cyclist. Since his youth, he has spent most of his free time building and flying model airplanes. His passion for travel took him to many far-flung corners of the globe. He also enjoyed attending community theatre and making wine.
A memorial service will take place at Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Larry are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
