It is with great sadness that the family of Paul “Herc” Ekron Hodgins announce his passing at AgeCare Parkhill on Friday, September 6, 2024 in his 79th year.
Beloved husband of the late Louise (Watson, 1994). Loving father of Chris & Angela Hodgins of London and their children Matthew and Ally, Darcy & Pamela Hodgins of Parkhill and their children Anna, Jacob, and Sara. Sadly missed brother of Linda & Jim Dietrich of Shipka. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and the entire Watson family. Predeceased by his mother Willa, his father George and his infant brother David.
Paul was a lifelong farmer and trucker and worked hard his entire life. In his spare time, Paul loved playing and watching baseball, and even fishing when time permitted. In his later years, Paul loved a Timmies coffee while touring the gravel roads.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at AgeCare Parkhill and Dr. A. Whynot for their amazing care of Paul during his final years.
A private Graveside Service for Paul will be held at Parkhill Cemetery where he will be interned with his loving wife Louise. Arrangements entrusted to Gilpin Funeral Chapel – Parkhill.
