It is with sadness that the family of Jessie Madeline Willsie (Stephenson) announce her passing at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday, August 18, 2024 in her 100th year.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late George (2009). Loving mother of Paul & Linda Willsie. Cherished grandmother of Kristy & Chris Ravell, Julie & Matt DeJong. Special great-grandmother of Meagan, Shae, Madison and Jordyn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
Jessie was a hard-working farmer and mother who loved her family passionately, especially her great-grandchildren. Jessie loved curling, dancing, the Blue Jays, bingo, euchre and cooking. Jessie was also a member of the Thedford Legion Ladies Auxiliary where she volunteered her spare time. She attended Knox Presbyterian Church and enjoyed entertaining friends and family for Sunday dinners.
A Memorial Service for Jessie will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Arkona Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Christine O’Reilly officiating.
