Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Rejean "Reg" Blais passed away at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Mary Patricia "Pat" (nee Sterling) for over 51 years. Loving father of Marc (Natalie nee Roache), Marcel (Julie nee Vautour). Loving and cherished Grandpa to Mitchell, Mackena and Bree. Dear brother of Roger, Germain, Roland, Claude, Fernand, and Real. Predeceased by his parents Henri and Alma Blais, and siblings Clemence, Paul Emile, Leon, Yolande, Clement, Robert and Irene. Reg worked at Imperial Oil for over 35 years and in his retirement spent his time on Swap Shop and Kijiji to find his next project to tinker with. Reg loved his traveling back to Quebec to spend time with his siblings, in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to Frank and Monica Vautour, Kathy Roache, Fred and Pat Sterling, Ray Gaulin and Brenda Ogilvie for your love and support. To the hospice doctors, nursing and PSW teams, your care and compassion with Reg was incredible. A special thank you to Dr. Orla MacSweeney for your support and care for Reg during his final journey.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 1pm to 5pm at Imperial City Brew House, Sarnia.
