Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Friday, July 26, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Ontario, Sharon Lake passed away into the arms of her Lord & Saviour at the age of 81. Devoted & endeared wife of Brian Lake for 60 years. Loving mother of Kevin Lake (Laurel) Limehouse, ON, Barry Lake (Nicole), Chapel Hill, N.C. USA, James Lake (Vera) Loveland, Ohio, USA, and Deborah Duclos (Stephane) Campbellville, ON. Cherished grandmother of Madeleine, Olivia, Charlotte & Nolan Lake (Limehouse, ON), Ryan, Tyler, & Adam Lake (Loveland, Ohio, USA). Predeceased by her parents Leland & Cecilia Bullock, her brothers William & Calvin. Predeceased by Albert & Lydia Lake (Wolfe) and brother-in-law Dennis Lake. Affectionately remembered by Illa Bullock, Brenda Bullock, David (Dorothy) Lake, Sharon Lake (West), Barbara-Jean (Deo) Lake-Ramnath and their families. Sharon had a deep Christian faith, and was an active Baptist church member. She loved to entertain, and possessed exceptional culinary/baking skills. Her true passion was fostering close relationships through personal correspondence and interaction. An eager, seasoned traveler with many years as a South Carolina snowbird. Devoted to raising & supporting her family. She had a magnetic personality with all children. A funeral service will be held at Bluewater Church, 1256 Wellington St., Sarnia, on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Lakeview Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Church or Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
