Carol Anne St. Pierre (nee Anderson), of Oil City, was in her 82nd year. Passed away with her family by her side on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Her faith was her guiding light. Beloved wife of Luke Joseph Euclid St. Pierre of 60 years. Loving mother of Janette (Todd) McNeilly, Linda Huctwith, Colleen (Robin) Cumming, Paul (Marny) St. Pierre, Dennis (Kathleen) St. Pierre, Edward (Nancy) St. Pierre, Noel (Jackie) St. Pierre, and Marianne (Randy) Myers. Cherished Mimi to Nicholas (Julie), Selena, the late Brianna Batty (1997), Bryan (Samantha), Tommy, Scott (Rachel), Alicia (Devin), the late Daniel Holmes (1997), Mason, Tanner, Aimee, Isabelle, Benjamin, Roann, Maeve, Grace, Philip, Marcus, Nathan, Kara, and Anderson and great Mimi to Eli, Oakley, Nolan, McKenna, Carson, Mollie, Thomas, and Esme.
Treasured sister of Elsie Hyatt and June (Dave) West, and sister-in-law to the late Eva (the late John) St Pierre, Bernard (Jean) St. Pierre, the late Leonie (the late Gerald) Geffs, the late Pauline (the late John) Shea, Andy (the late Shirley) St. Pierre, Juliette (the late Robert) McDonald, Madeline (Dave) Drope, and Lionel St. Pierre. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Carol was a registered nurse graduating in the class of 1963 from St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, a mother of eight cherished children, twenty-one grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. After becoming empty nesters Carol and Luke travelled to Italy, Hawaii, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, and France.
Visitors will be received on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. from the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 650 Broadway St. Wyoming. Parish Prayers will be offered at 3:45 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m, from St. Philip’s Parish, 415 King St. Petrolia. Interment to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
