The family of Wanda James was pleased to be by her side during her final hours. We have faith that she is now reunited with her adoring husband, Leonard Russell Walker. Our Mom was widely regarded as a loving and nurturing elementary school teacher in the area for over 40 years. Her family consists of: Robert Stephen James (Craig and Sean), Debbie Delong (Jay and Lori), Patti Welsh (Cory, Melissa and Amy), and Tim James (Kaileah, Nathan and Justin), Mom also adored Ashlen and Alexa Leonard all spouses, and many great-grandchildren. Gosh, she loved children!
We are left with the memory of a strong, religious, empathetic and truly accountable legacy, who taught us to do the right thing, especially when life presented challenges. She would say: “ This too shall pass!”

Cremation has taken place. A brief memorial service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 770 Lakeshore Rd., Sarnia, on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or to St. Giles Presbyterian Church (cheques only when donating at the funeral home, please).
