Mr. David Alfred “Dave” Rodway, was taken from us suddenly, but is now proudly back with the Lord, our God, on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in Chatham at the age of 75 years.
He was born in Newfoundland and later settled in Wallaceburg. Beloved husband and best friend to Charlene (Boucher) Rodway. He is survived by his loving daughter Stacey Rodway and her children Shianne, Reanna, Talissa and Taleah and great granddaughter Naiylah. Dear step-father of Jim Aubie and Joe (Catherine) Aubie. Dear step-grandfather of Madisun, Alyssa, Samantha and step-great grandfather of Ember. Kind brother of Kelly (Kim) Rodway, Charles (Debbie) Rodway and Flo Callahan. Dave is survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He will be missed by his K9 companion Chico.
He was devoted to his faith. He was a retired truck driver for Travellers, with many cross country and states trips. He enjoyed woodworking and making windmills with recycled materials. He could never resist a bargain.
Arrangements entrusted to the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from First Baptist Church.
