Ruth Brand (nee Falconer), of Petrolia, passed away peacefully at Bear Creek Terrace (formerly Fiddick’s Retirement Home) on Saturday, April 13, 2024 in her 106th year. Ruth was the wife of the late David (Davey)Brand (1990). She was the loved mother of the late David (2018) (Catharine) Brand, Janice (the late Michael (2017)) Granger, and Ron (Connie) Brand. She was the adored grandmother of Lynn, Becky, Trevor (Jessica), and the late Jarod (2012) Brand, and Michael (Barbara), Stephen, and Daniel (Danielle) Granger; and Heather Schwartz(David), Erin Bess(Stephen), and Terri McLaren (Jacques) as well as 20 great grandchildren. Upon retirement years ago, Davey and Ruth moved to Sombra and started a delightful antique shop called The Old Bank. They enjoyed many happy years there before returning to Petrolia. If desired, in lieu flowers the family suggests donations to the C.E.E.Hospital, or any charity of your choosing
