Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Friday, April 5, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Lynn Marie Farina passed away at the age of 64. Beloved wife of John Farina. Loving mother of Anthony Farina and Melissa Bechard. Cherished grandmother of Everly Farina. Dear sister of Joan Claeys, Ted (Brenda) Claeys, Sharon (Rob) Kirk, and Ken (Linda) Claeys, and sister-in-law of Sal Farina (Anna Maria), the late Joe Farina (Pat Henderson), and Anna (John) DiFederico. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents James and Mary-Helen Claeys. Lynn and John got married on July 20, 1991. Lynn enjoyed playing baseball and going bowling. She loved tending to her garden in her spare time. She especially loved travelling with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will be held. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home please).
