Peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones, Gilda "Bonnie" Yvonne Mabel Bressette (nee George) began her spirit journey on March 19th, 2024 in her 86th year.
Honoured by her husband Frederick Franklin Bressette, her siblings, Janice (Roy-baa), Marshall (Janet) and Bunny, her children Gail (Charlie), Shelley (Miles), Barb (Stewart-Baa), Buck (Carol) and Summer (Ian). Nanny's grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy and she will be missed greatly. She was loved by many nieces and nephews, friends and community members and was blessed with years of laughter and visits.
She is predeceased by her beloved mother and father, Hilda-baa and Bruce-baa George, her son Donnie-baa, her siblings, Fidge-baa, Chubb-baa and Sue-baa, her granddaughter Starr-baa and her grandsons, Frank-baa and Eddie Ray-baa.
As per her wishes, Nanny's service will be private and only open to immediate family. For those wanting to put tobacco in the sacred fire for Nanny, the tipi is set up in the front yard of 9336 Lake Rd. Kettle and Stony Point First Nation.
