METCALFE, Lewis Allan, "Al" passed peacefully at home holding hands with his best friend, Peg & daughter Stephie on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at the age 67.
Adored husband of Peggy for 46.5 yrs., loving father to daughter Stephanie & son Andy. Proudest Poppa of Emma, Brady and Layla. Beloved father in law to Shaun & Jaimee and grandfather in law to Andrew. Middle brother to Ron & Jay. Predeceased by parents Don & Evelyn
Al's pride was his family and never missed an opportunity to tell the world about them. Al was very friendly and believed every stranger was just a friend he hadn't met yet. He was an avid Leafs fan. Also, the unofficial Mayor of Cozumel. He loved spending afternoons in his backyard by the pool with his family.
The family wish to thank Dr. MacSweeney and her team for their endless compassionate support. Also thanks to the Sarnia Cancer Clinic & a special thanks to his home care nurse, Blaine.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Al's Life will be held at Stokes Inland on Friday, April 5th, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Come raise a glass and share a memory.
