It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Winnafred Jean McEwen announces her passing on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Vision Nursing Home at the age of 93. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Douglas John McEwen. Loving mother of Elaine (Larry) Armstrong, John McEwen, Gordon (Shelley) McEwen and Marilyn (Les) Armstrong. Cherished grandmother of Julie (Kyle) Maw and Ian Armstrong; Brennen McEwen; Vanessa (Reid) Young, Andrew McEwen, and Wesley (Maggie) McEwen; Jason (Jamie) Armstrong, Paul (Krystal) Armstrong, Darren (Ashley) Armstrong, Karl (Jamie) Armstrong, Lauren Armstrong (Cody) and Corinne (Corey) Saunders. Adored great-grandmother of Logan, Emery, and Hudson Maw; Garrett and Pearl Young; Riley, Emerson and Wyatt Armstrong; Brianna, Addilyn, Grace and Lane Armstrong; Clayton, Ivadell, Sawyer, Elsie, and Jasper Armstrong; and Frederick and Eleanor Saunders. Dear sister of Donna (late Glenn) Minielly and the late James Stewardson and sister-in-law of Arthur (late Donna) McEwen, and the late Ernest (late Eileen) McEwen. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Ivadell Stewardson.
