Roy Frawley, 92 years of Petrolia passed away peacefully at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health with family by his side on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Roy was the husband of Orize and the late Dorothy Frawley (2001). He will be missed by his sons Ed and Betty and Dave and Esther Frawley, his stepchildren Andre and Lynn, Bernard, Paul, and Mary Ann and Marcel Chilittle, his grandchildren John, Heather, Ben, Lysa, Shaunna, Jean, and Ryan, and his eleven Great Grandchildren. He will also be missed by many step grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by a stepson James, his parents Arthur and Stella Frawley, and his siblings Joe, Agnes, Helen, and Madeline. Roy was very active and was an avid Golfer and Curler.
Visitor will be received on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from St Philips Parish, King St. Petrolia. Interment to follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial may be made to Canadian Cancer Society (www.cancer.ca) and C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (www.ceehf.ca).
