Sarnia Police are investigating a suspicious death in the city’s south end and are asking nearby residents to check their home security video.
Police say officers were called to a residence in the area of Queen and Devine Streets at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21.
“Officers made entry to the home and located a deceased male inside,” a news release stated, adding that the identity of the victim is not yet being released. “Currently this death investigation is being treated as suspicious and no arrests have been made.”
A police presence is expected in the area for an extended period of time, and additional information will be released as the investigation unfolds, police added.
“Residents in the area are asked to check their home security systems for any pedestrian or vehicle traffic during the time period of 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
