A stretch of Christina Street in Sarnia was closed Thursday following a late-night structure fire, officials say.
Sarnia Fire & Rescue Services says crews responded to the the blaze late Wednesday night in the 300 block of Christina St. North.
"Due to a quick response firefighters prevented the fire from spreading to the adjacent homes," a social media post noted. "Both residents escaped safely and firefighters rescued their cat."
No injuries were reported.
