SCHRAM, Charles

SCHRAM, Charles Douglas “Chuck” Surrounded by family and friends, it is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to my husband and best friend of almost 49 years. In his 68th year, Chuck was picked up by the mother ship at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on January 23, 2024 and will reside now, in the universe which he so much loved. Chuck will be teaching his new alien buddies how to fish, hunt, play darts and maybe even help with some electrical work on a space ship.

Chuck is survived by his loving Wife, Judy (White) Schram. Dear father of Jeremy and Erica Schram, Tara Schram and Wayne “Buck” Mc Leod. Cherished grandfather of Devon Smith and Ashley Reid, Maddy Schram and Travis Luther, Scott Schram, Hanna McLeod, Katelynn McLeod (John Henry). Adored great-grandfather of Enzley and Tatum Smith. Chuck is also survived by his mother, Jennine Schram. Dear Brother of Dennis (Eleanor), Rick (Eleanor), Jane (Dave), Willy (Tammy) and Roger (Rhonda). Beloved Brother-in-Law of Joyce (Late Mike Harvey), Patrick (Betty) and Bob (Robin). Amazing uncle to many nieces and nephews. Chuck is predeceased by his father Douglas “Doug” Schram (2017), his mother and father in law, Regis White (2014) and Dorothy White (2011).

Chuck was a devoted caring family man, known for many trades. Chuck loved to spend time with his family and friends at his little piece of paradise known as his cottage. For anyone who knew Chuck, could say that he was always willing to give a helping hand. He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him near and far.

As per Chuck’s wishes his body has been donated to science to the Schulich School of Medicine. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the Parkhill Legion Branch 134, 200 Broad St, Parkhill, ON N0M 2K0, on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Chuck are asked to consider Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting www.gilpinfuneralchapel.com
