WELLS, Christopher Joseph – With profound sadness the family announce the passing of Chris at age 55 on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia. Beloved husband of Kelly Wells (nee Zenick). Loving father of Kitty (Joel) McCormick, Matthew Wells, Erin (Adam) Demaat. Devoted grandpa to Christian, Jesse, Veronica, Sophie, Shea, Emmi, Hannah, Cole, Maxx and Summer. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will never forget their fun-loving uncle. Chris was predeceased by his parents Alan and Nancy Wells, his brother Alan and sister Kitty Ann. He was big brother to Mike, Sam, Barney and Robbie Wells. Remembered with love by his in-laws Nancy Zenick, Peter Zenick, Rachel and Tjay Waite. Predeceased by his father-in-law Russ Zenick, brother-in-law Bill Zenick and beloved nephew Brad Waite. Chris suffered his first heart attack at the age of 29 and has spent several years battling heart disease. Chris’ happy place was sitting on a riverbank holding a fishing rod.
Family and friends will be received at STEADMAN BROTHERS FUNERAL CHAPELS on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 1:00 until the time of the funeral service at 2:00pm.
