Three arrested in drugs, weapons raid in Sarnia

Three Sarnia residents were arrested and face multiple charges after a drug warrant was executed on Mitton Street, Wednesday evening, police say.

Sarnia Police said in a news release that members of the VICE unit and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Mitton Street, N. in Sarnia, around 7 p.m.

As a result, investigators located and seized the following:

· black and silver replica handgun
· switchblade style knife.
· 27.90 grams of suspected fentanyl
· 24.06 grams of suspected cocaine
· 2.26 grams of crystal methamphetamine
· $985.00

The total street value of the drugs is valued at approximately $7,882.20.

Three individuals, a 24-year-old, and two 25-year-olds, all from Sarnia, face multiple drugs and weapons related charges.

Two were held pending a bail hearing and one was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date scheduled for December 13th, 2023.
