The Sarnia Sting hockey club announced this week they have acquired the rights to goaltender Evan Maillet, in exchange for a conditional 12th-round pick in the 2026 Ontario Hockey League (OHL) Priority Selection.
Maillet, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, currently plays for the Toronto Patriots of the OJHL (Ontario Junior Hockey League). In 4 games the 17-year-old posts a .902 save percentage and a goals against average of 3.97.
