Whether you call him Saint Nick, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle or just plain Santa, here is a fellow who deserves a pat on the back this week for a job well done.
For centuries, Santa has embodied kindness and the spirit of giving to Christians around the world.
Don’t forget about the fact that he is able to maneuver a sleigh pulled by eight flying reindeer and deliver gifts and toys to all the good little girls and boys in a single night.
This guy’s an all-star at spreading good cheer in a world that doesn’t always feel that cheery.
What we really like is his attitude. He’s a get-the-job-done-at-all-costs kind of guy. And he does it with a smile.
The Journal salutes Santa for his exceptional work ethic. As Christmas Eve approaches and blizzard conditions are forecast for our region, we wish him good luck and safe travels!
