Anyone with Blue Water Bridge tokens is encouraged to redeem them because they will no longer be accepted after July 1, 2022.
The tokens can be exchanged for an equivalent number of crossings using the ConneXion pre-payment request traveller program, said Todd Kealey a director with the Federal Bridge Corporation Limited.
A new ConneXion account will be created for any redeemer of tokens that doesn’t already have an account.
The FBCL launched the contactless ConneXion toll pre-payment program in Oct. 2018 after token sales were discontinued.
